Bruges is a charming and fascinating town.
Lots of little streets and passageways, with lovely shops and bars.
The streets cross over a network of canals with beautiful views from the little bridges. The streets are lined with narrow houses and shops, each with distinctive brickwork, colours, and roof outlines.

The locals were very friendly, helpful and generally delighted to help to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The pace is very relaxed. Food and drink, as well as excursions on the boats or horse-drawn carriages were reasonably priced.
